“Happy Homes Hong Kong Poetry Contest 2023” as a community engagement activity of the Mission For Migrant Workers (MFMW)’s “Happy Homes HK'' project, aims to engage the public and to promote mutual understanding, respect and fair treatment among employers and migrant domestic workers.

Awards

Each group has a champion, first runner-up, second runner-up and “most popular entry” awards. Winners will be given a certificate and exquisite gift. All poem entries will be published on “Happy Homes HK” Facebook page for online voting for the “Most popular entry” award from 3 April to 16 April 2023.

Results will be announced on 17 April 2023 (MONDAY). For details, please refer to the “Happy Homes HK” Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.comHappyHomesHK/).
All winners will be informed regarding the details of awarding. All winning entries will be shared in the March Edition of the organisation’s “Migrant Focus” monthly newsletter .

Submission Methods

Complete the form on or before 26 March 2023 (SUNDAY) and submit by the following ways:

Submit the hard copy to the “Mission For Migrant Workers, St. John’s Cathedral, 4-8 Garden Road, and Central” in person.
Mail the hard copy to “Mission For Migrant Workers, St. John’s Cathedral, 4-8 Garden Road, and Central” with “Happy Homes HK Poetry Contest 2023” on top of the envelope.
Email the soft copy to mission@migrants.net with Subject “Happy Homes HK Poetry Contest 2023”
Whatsapp the soft copy to 9529 0387.

Entry Instructions

The entry must be original unpublished work.Each person is limited to submitting ONE entry.
The language of the entry must be in either English, Chinese, Tagalog or Bahasa Indonesia.
Each entry is suggested to be between 25-300 words long.
The ”MFMW Limited” reserves the right to advertise and publish the entries.
