MFMW Annual Charity Walk 2023



The Annual Charity Walk is a yearly fundraising event hosted by MFMW.

The Walk aims to spread awareness of the need to protect the rights and welfare of migrant domestic workers and to affirm and appreciate their valuable contribution.

 

The MFMW is one the outreach ministries of the St. John’s Cathedral, is a registered Charity serving migrant workers in Hong Kong. MFMW’s services include provision of case guidance and support, outreach services to provide welfare support and other emergency assistances including food and shelter assistance. We also provide education and training to ensure the migrant community are aware of their rights, and is provided with opportunities to develop their work and life skills. The MFMW also engage with the general public to advocate for social inclusion and integration.

This year, we hope to raise HK$200,000, which will go towards supporting our services and initiatives to assist and support thousands of migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong.

We hope to see at least 300 participants on the day. Including migrant domestic workers, employers’ families and other participants from the general public joining our walk for a good cause.
