Coloring and Drawing Competition 2024

Fostering a Culture of Respect and Empathy:

Celebrating the Contributions of Migrant Domestic Workers

 “Happy Homes HK Coloring and Drawing Competition  2024” as a community engagement activity of the Mission For Migrant Workers (MFMW)’s "Happy Homes" project aims to educate the public about positive values by promoting and recognizing mutual understanding, respect, and equality between employers and migrant domestic workers.

Content

The coloring form provided by the organization must be used as a blueprint. The coloring pigments are not limited. Text and drawings can be added to express the message of mutual understanding, respect, and equality.

Categories

(A) Age 11 or below - Coloring Competition

(B) Age 12 or above - Drawing Competition 
Original drawing or painting (not limited to pencil, charcoal, pastels, colored pencils, oil paints, acrylics, water media, mixed media/collage etc.) and original digital creations (which may not include AI or digital image generation of any kind), created by hand that express the message of mutual understanding, respect, and equality.

Entry Instructions

1. The entry must be original unpublished work.

2. Each person is limited to submit ONE piece of work.

3. All artworks will not be returned once they are received.

4. The "MFMW Limited" reserves the right to advertise or publish the entries.

Criteria

Fit with themes, colors, and creative ideas.

Deadline of Submission

Complete the form and the artwork on or before 30 August (Friday) and mail the original copy of that to "Mission For Migrant Workers, St. John's Cathedral, 4-8 Garden Road, and Central."

Awards

Each group will have champion, first runner-up, second runner-up, and

"most popular" categories.

Winners will be given a certificate and an exquisite gift.

"Happy Homes HK" Facebook Page

for online voting from to 9 September to 22 September 2024.

Announcement of Winners

Results will be announced on Monday, 23 September,2024.

Invitation letters will be sent to all winners regarding the details of awarding on 6 October at the Peak.
