On December 4, 2015, the Mission For Migrant Workers invited friends and supporters to a public launching of the results of the 2015 MFMW Impact Evaluation at St. John’s Cathedral Fanny Li Hall.
This abridged/popular version involved a comprehensive process for the MFMW to objectively and concretely determine the impacts of its programmes and services for the migrant workers and those who support the work from among the people of Hong Kong, and the general society of Hong Kong.
MFMW general manager Cynthia Abdon Tellez shared about the arduous and painstaking work done by the Mission to get these results. She thanked representatives from churches, migrant organizations, allies, movements, interns, volunteers, Bethune House residents and each one present. She also wished for strengthening of ties and alliances to support migrant workers in Hong Kong.
The guests were very pleased with the wine, food and piano notes that harmonized the evening. “Serving migrants anytime, anywhere” was a beautiful background for all the photos and memories that the people took in the event.
